(1) Police personnel who are entitled to pension due to age limit or service period should submit the prescribed form to the concerned authority six months before the date of retirement. In case of death of such police officer, his family shall apply for pension within six months of his death. (2) Sub-rule (2) of rule 63, except in the case of unemployment, the center shall send a written recommendation to the police library along with the determination of the pension amount of the employee who retires for any reason other than the pension certificate and the retired employee's identity card.
